MATHLETICS

YAY!!! We are now able to go on Mathletics and practise our Mathematical skills. The students are able to go on it at school and at home and play live against lots of people around the world. Please make sure you DO NOT go under your child's name and play as we are unable to reset their score afterwards.

We are also looking forward to our incursion on Monday where we will be looking at the Indigenous Australian culture. Don't forget the children can't wait to share their learning with you at the Three Way Conferences on Tuesday 2nd of March and Wednesday 3rd of March. Look forward to meeting you then.

Striving for excellence

In JSV we have been awesome workers, concentrating on making our work nice and neat. In Writing we are working on making our handwriting fantastic and in Mathematics we have began looking at Place Value. I wonder if anyone can explain to their mum and dad what Place Value is? We have also made a class pledge to do our best work, check it out!

This week we have been looking at what makes 5 Star Work and 5 Star Learners. We have made sure that we concentrate on our work and ALWAYS try our best.

First week back

We have had loads of fun during our first week back at school. We have made T-shirts that describe us, made lots of new friends, played on the Junior School playground and have even started some writing.
