Junior School Excursion!!!

On Friday the 11th of June Junior School went to CSIRO to learn about science and force.

We saw:
• Toys
• Robots
• Bouncy balls
• Ghost balls
• Wooden toys
• Slinky
• Electronic toys
• A diver in a bottle
• Puppets
• Liam sitting on 1000 nails without getting hurt
• How things move

We learned:
• If you sit on one nail it will hurt more than sitting on 1000 nails because the force is spread out.
• That ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’ are the only forces in the world.
• When we use a skateboard we use ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’.
• If two people are sitting on skateboards and one is heavier and they pull on the same rope the heavy person will not move.
• If you swing a bucket of water really fast the water will not fall out.
